Description

The Fincher Profreeze 600 is a continuous ice cream freezer designed for the freezing and whipping of frozen desserts such as ice cream and similar products. The machine automatically draws the liquid mix into the pump, injects a preset quantity of air, and transfers it to the freezing cylinder where the mix is whipped and frozen. A refrigerant surrounding the cylinder removes heat from the mix, forming a smooth, frozen product.

Stainless steel blades continuously scrape frozen product from the cylinder walls and mix it evenly. Cylinder pressure is maintained through an adjustable constant pressure valve, ensuring consistent product texture and overrun.


Materials and Construction

Built for professional food production environments, all product-contact components are manufactured from stainless steel or food-grade plastics. The Profreeze 600 is fully compliant with CE safety and hygiene standards.


Refrigeration System

This self-contained unit features integral refrigeration powered by a Copeland scroll compressor and an Alfa Laval brazed plate condenser. A hot gas system is integrated for precise viscosity control and to maintain product consistency during operation.


Freezing Cylinder and Dasher

The hard chrome-plated freezing cylinder houses a central dasher that agitates the mix during freezing. An eccentric mechanism within the dasher enhances product texture by continuously manipulating the mix. The dasher is driven by an electric motor via a timing belt for efficient and reliable performance.


Pumping System

A twin-piston mechanical pump, synchronised with a powered rotary valve through a timing belt, feeds the air–mix blend into the freezing cylinder. This system provides accurate timing, balanced flow, and consistent product output while offering economical and versatile operation.
